It's hot in Georgia!!! I've heard it's hot in Kentucky, too. We are living on the main level and basement level of our house, since the upstairs A/C is not working. That means not much has been unpacked or put away upstairs. We just run up there to shower/change clothes and get back downstairs! The A/C unit is on its way, though.
We have some of my family members arriving next week to visit and help out!!!! YEA!!!!! Looking forward to it!!
So far, we've primed the walls of the family room. White Primer looks much better than dark orange paint. We'll paint the room with 2 shades of blue at some point.
I've removed the upper kitchen cabinet doors, primed and painted them. They're ready to be put back up tonight. They went from dark, grime-filled stain, to a light gray paint with brushed nickel hardware. We'll need new lighting, but for now this made it brighter! After some recovery time we'll tackle the bottom cabinets. My brain couldn't handle all of them at one time.
It doesn't seem like anything was broken in the move. We still can't locate the bag of screws and brackets for Thomas' bed and we haven't found the pieces to bunk the girls' bed.
Fayetteville is a nice area. We are close to every type of store. Within 3 miles of most anything we'll need. Our new church is about 5 miles away. The boys have commented that we haven't found the Aeropostale store, though. Haven't seen an indoor Mall, yet. May have to go up into Atlanta for that. We did travel up for the IKEA store. It's about half an hour away. Not too bad if you aren't traveling through at rush hour.
Enough rambling for now. I did find the camera, but not the cables, so no pictures yet. Soon, though.
