Demolition is therapeutic....but messy!!
Joe finally had a few days off in a row, so some house projects are beginning to occur. The border on the kitchen walls is gone. The ugly wallpaper in 2 bathrooms is GONE! He is patching a lot of places where the drywall paper came off with the wall paper. There were at least 2 layers of paper on the walls. Some of the rooms have paint between or over the wall paper, too.
Natalie had a good time helping us scrape in the bathroom last night. We wouldn't give her our scraping tools, so she brought a table knife to the bathroom to help. She was a very diligent worker. She enjoyed finding pieces that showed the brown butterflies from the bottom layer of paper. Little pleasures!
