We may be changing the closing date for the South House. The bank/seller asked if we could move it up. It doesn't benefit us to move it up, but, we may move it up one week. Don't know yet when we'll move, though.
I have begun packing boxes for the items in the house that we can live without for a month. Not much left here to pack, but at least I started. If we have showings here, they'll just have to see boxes. After all, we ARE moving.
Joe was given permission to get into the new house to start cleaning. There is no water or electricity , so he's doing what he can. He's hoping they'll let him turn the utilities on so he can start getting the pool cleaned. Yes, there is an in-ground pool. We're thinking it will make a nice incentive for the children to clean, unload, unpack if they get to swim at intervals during the day!
