We had a lovely visit from the Clark family in our GA home. Their 3 girls and our children always have a good time together. We appreciated them making the drive down for the weekend. The weather was not TRUE Georgia weather while they were here, though. We had a 2 day break in the humidity, so we had windows open! As soon as the Clark's left, the humidity returned! Thanks, Clarks!!!
We haven't heard of a closing date yet for the KY house.
We began our school year this week and have 2 days finished! The year a child learns to read is always a more time consuming year. This is the last year for that, though. Charlie is now high school age and is beginning to feel the "credits" pressure. He would like to try to pick up the pace and try to finish school early, but we'll see.
In order to help the boys get to know the teens in the church youth group, we invited all of them for a party at our house on Friday. Since God blessed us with a house with a pool, room to spread out, and the previous owner left a ping pong table, I hope they have a good time.
I will work on getting some pictures on here soon. I promise!
